The collection consists of correspondence sent from and to Wilbur & Joseph Miller involving family members & friends; Wilbur Miller's diary, 1898 Nov.-Dec., that he kept during the Spanish-American War while serving with Company F, 20th Kansas Infantry; and some misc. materials. Letters from the brothers describe their experiences; letters from their sisters describe activities at home near Hammond, Kan., and at normal institute (teacher training) in Fort Scott.
